Even though Sam is an Erie High School grad, we started our session on the main drag in Old Town Lafayette, Colorado. I’ve scouted that area before so I knew there were some old building with some killer textures that would be perfect for a high school portrait session.

A nice clean black image makes for beautiful artwork of your senior. High gloss metal prints look absolutely stunning in black and white hanging on the wall in your living room.
Then it was off to the barn to get some final shots of Sam and her horse Rio. The lighting was perfect and made Sam’s senior portraits an the barn really pop.I didn’t need any extra lights for this shot. The sun was low and cast a beautiful beam of light.
