Visit our home studio to discuss clothing selections, locations and other important details of your upcoming portrait session.
Your choice of the session location.
In studio or outdoors? Maybe there is a special park that is important to your family, or maybe you would prefer to be photographed in your own home. We would love to do that! Don’t know where to go? No sweat! We know many beautiful locations that offer many different looks. We will work with you, and the weather, to schedule your outdoor session when the weather is most desirable. We all know that Colorado weather is quick to change, so we have a home studio to ensure that we are never without options. Studio sessions have the advantage of climate control, as well as creative lighting techniques that are not possible outdoors.
The actual photo session
We will meet at the location of your choice – sometimes more than one location if that’s what it takes to accomplish your needs. Family sessions usually take between an hour and an hour and a half. Senior sessions can take anywhere between one and three hours.
After the shoot
As a part of being a full service portrait studio, we will invite you to our home studio to see all of your beautiful portraits. We will guide you through the process of choosing just the right wall portraits for your home and office. Portrait Albums are very popular for senior and family portraits. During the ordering appointment, we will show you some sample albums and help you to choose the perfect images for an album that you will cherish for a lifetime.
Okay, but what about price?
Our creation fee is $145 and is due at the time of your session. We don’t have any minimum or maximum on how much you spend, but it’s normal for a family to spend between $400 to $1400 on their portraits.
